Does my company need a drug-testing program?

Yes. Your company may be required by law to test your employees for drug use. Even if it is not, it's good to have the peace of mind that your employees are clean from drug abuse. It also keeps your company safer from liability in the case of an accident. Best of all, it makes your company all the more trustworthy for clients. Basin Compliance Incorporated can help establish a complete drug program, including random testing, or integration with your current program.

Does my company need FIT testing?

If you have employees that work on-site in areas that present a high risk of exposure to toxic gases, fumes, or other industrial air contaminants, then yes. OSHA regulations state that before an employee may be required to use any respirator with a negative or positive pressure tight-fitting facepiece, the employee must be fit tested with the same make, model, style, and size of respirator that will be used [1910.134(f)]. Companies have been fined for having people on the job site without having been tested.

Why PEC?

The PEC programs provide a cost-effective and time-saving way to meet your safety class and certification requirements. Whether you are an ISNetworld member or independent service provider, the PEC Core, Basic Orientation, or H2S Clear classes will meet your safety compliance requirements. They are professional, up to date, and most importantly, show competence and encourage a behavior-based safety environment.

Is Hearing Conservation important to me?

Yes! Loss of hearing is listed as one of the top priorities in maintaining a good quality of life. This is why audiometric testing is one of our main services in Odessa, TX. The scary thing is that many people do not realize their hearing is being affected until a significant loss has occurred. OSHA has set requirements that adequate hearing protection equipment be worn at 90dB and a hearing conservation program be put in place. Basin Compliance Incorporated has CAOHC-certified Hearing Conservationists to provide baseline and annual hearing tests.
